I also LOVE the whole idea of the Ministry to Moms of Newborns. Thank you Belinda, Jenny, Britney, Kelly and Elly! [And Carrie]This is such an exciting time in a woman's life and for some, difficult. It is awesome to know that our church family cares and is excited to celebrate with new moms and available to help the women who need support. My own family has been blessed by this ministry as Belinda delivered a basket to the hospital when my little nephew, Anthony, was born [6 months ago]...and we were all waiting until the day he could leave NICU and be held. It made a HUGE impact on my family here AND in NY. My brother has been attending Dogwood for a few months now and my nephew gets to go to the baby room and be loved on by the wonderful women in there. Anthony was dedicated on Mother's Day!I KNOW that this also touched my mom [in NY] and nudged her one step closer to the profession of faith she made recently. This is more than just a ministry that delivers gift baskets...it delivers love and hope and Christ! It changes lives! Thank you, ladies, for being Jesus with skin on!
