We are deeply loved by God. I recently reread an old book by Andrew Murray titled "Abide in Me". In that book he says that '...Jesus was motivated by immeasurable love and compassion when He said these words, 'Come unto Me' ; and with no less fervency He gives the invitation to 'abide'." So, not only are we loved...but like your blog says...we are the beloved. We are desired by God. His mind is full of us. Being reminded of this ...I don't know if I want to lie flat on the ground in appreciation of Gods great grace and love or lift my hands up as far as they can go in praise and thanksgiving!
