Welcome!  We’re so glad you found us in this little corner of the ‘net.  We hope you find all sorts of encouragement, ideas, and fun.  I love the words of Paul in Colossians:

I want you to realize that I continue to work as hard as I know how for you, and also for the Christians over at Laodicea. Not many of you have met me face-to-face, but that doesn’t make any difference. Know that I’m on your side, right alongside you. You’re not in this alone.

I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery. All the richest treasures of wisdom and knowledge are embedded in that mystery and nowhere else. And we’ve been shown the mystery!  (2:1-3)

We may not ever meet, or we may sit beside each other in church, but we are all sisters invited to the same party.  You are not in this alone!  Let’s dig deeper and reach higher to understand God’s great mystery and receive His treasures!

If you are not a Christ follower, we would love for you to join us.  If you have questions, please free to contact us!  If you think you’re ready to join the party, here’s your invitation…

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED

WHO: All are Invited “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.”  (John 3:16)

WHEN: Whenever you are ready.  Please don’t be late!

WHAT: Experience Eternal Life “Scripture reassures us, “No one who trusts God like this-heart and soul-will ever regret it.” It’s exactly the same no matter what a person’s religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. “Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.”  (Romans 10:13)

DRESS: Come just as you are, but be ready to confess and shed the sin that is in your life.   Jesus will make us clean. “If we claim that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins-make a clean breast of them-he won’t let us down; he’ll be true to himself. He’ll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing.”  (I John 1:8‑9)

COST: Admission is free. He’s already paid the cost for everyone.  You just need to believe and come into His presence. “But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.”  (Romans 6:22‑23)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Admit you are a sinner. “Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us.”  (Romans 3:23)

2. Believe that Jesus Christ died to take away our sins and God brought Him back to life on the 3rd day. “The Messiah died for our sins, exactly as Scripture tells it; that he was buried; that he was raised from death on the third day, again exactly as Scripture says.”  (I Cor 15:3-4)

3. Confess that He is your Lord and Savior. “Say the welcoming word to God-”Jesus is my Master”-embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!”  (Romans 10:9‑10)

RSVP: If you’re ready to join the party, you could pray something like this: I’m a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life.  But I believe that You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place for me in heaven.   Jesus, come into my life and take control, forgive my sins and save me.  I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accept your free gift of eternal life.
